Clogher and District Pipe Band are holding 'A Night of Magic' Concert in the Ballymore Inn, Tandragee on Saturday 6th of April 2013 @ 7.30 pm.

The concert will feature Clogher and District Pipe Band, Marlacoo and District Pipe Band, Co Armagh Drum Major's Display and various other marching bands. There will be a disco after the concert. Tickets £5:00, available from Clogher band members, the Ballymore Inn or pay at the door.

We extend the sympathies of all associated with RSPBANI to the family of our Honorary President Tom McCarroll who has passed away.

Please note the closing date for entries for the Ulster Solos 2013  has been extended to Saturday 6th April. Please send entries and fees to the Contest Administrator, Mervyn Herron.

Online entry for the City of Lisburn Championships is now available on the website. Band Secretaries (and Administrators) can log in and go to their band page. You will see a yellow 'Enter 2013 Competitions' button on the right side. Click on that button and follow the instructions. You will be able to submit entries for the Drum Majors that are associated with your band. If you are having difficulties accessing your account please contact the office.

Drum Majors can also submit their own entry. To do this they should log in and click on the 'My Account' Link in the top bar. Click on the yellow button on the right hand side and follow the instructions.

All Drum Majors that have competed in the last 3 years already have an account on the system. If you can not access your account please contact admin@rspbani.org. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER A NEW ACCOUNT.

Many thanks to the Bands and Drum Majors who have tested the system. We feel that everything should be running pretty smoothly but if you find a problem with the system please do let the office know.

It has just been agreed that BBC NI will be recording for television at The Derry/Londonderrry City of Culture 2013 All Ireland Championships. After initial contact made late last year and more recently, the head of Entertaiments Mike Edgar has decided to include this event in their planning for 2013. More details will follow.

This is great news for the NI Branch and our bands.
