The All-Ireland Solo entries close this Saturday. With 4 days left to go there are 26 Pipers & 43 Drummers entered. Last year there were 76 Pipers and 66 Drummers that competed so we still have a significant number of entries to come in. Many thanks to those that have already entered or who have contacted us for support. Can we ask that all other soloists complete their entry as soon as possible. If you need any support with an entry please contact us at admin@rspbani.org

Entries for the N.I. Novice Solos are now open. Please check the attached syllabus for details of the grades and playing requirements.

The process for entering is the same as for the All-Ireland Solos (instrutions also attached). We understand that some of the young people may not have their own email address, in this instance please contact us by email at admin@rspbani.org and we will create accounts for those players.

The online system for Solo Competition entries is now open. Please find the All-Ireland Syllabus attached along with instructions on how to process your entry. If you have any difficulties processing your entry please contact the Branch Office. The closing date is 10th September.

The Novice Piping and Drumming Competitions (Practice Chanter, Pipe Chanter, Drum Pad and Unaccompanied Snare) will not form part of the All-Ireland Championships this year. The NI Branch will be running the 'NI Novice Solo Piping and Drumming Championships' in the same venue and on the same day as the All-Ireland Solos to accommodate these competitions. We're just finalising the details of this event and entries will open early next week.
