The Cleland Memorial currently have a leading drummer position available with the band. The drum corps consists of 6 players at various levels but all capable of playing in the set grade (4A). Scores for the incoming year have been made & taught to all players but we are open to learning new material. The applicant must also be willing to teach learners as we run a piping & drumming school on band nights. Scottish Power Pipe Band will be appearing at Belfast's Waterfront Hall on Sat 27 April 2013 in a concert promoted by Aughintober Pipe Band & Wonderland Productions.
Scottish Power Pipe Band under Pipe Major Chris Armstrong & Drum Sergeant Barry Wilson will be showcasing their musical talent just weeks before the start of the 2013 competition season. This event builds on the band's ‘Energised’ concert and they will be accompanied by a number of top musicians from Northern Ireland during the evening so there will be a great mix of music to satisfy all tastes.

Aughintober Pipe Band
Current Grade 4B World Champions Clogher & District are holding a Coffee morning in St McCartans Church Hall, Clogher this Saturday 10th November from 10am-1pm. The band will have their trophies on display from the 2012 season. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Current Grade 1 World Champions, The Field Marshal Montgomery have just announced that they are selling their drums that they played last season. There is 14 side drums, 7 tenors, and a bass and all in excellent condition.

A reminder that the Branch A.G.M. will be held at Trinity Methodist Hall, Knockmore Road, Lisburn on the 10th November 2012 at 11 am.
Bleary & District Pipe Band are hosting a Table Quiz on Friday 23rd November 2012, with all proceeds going to band funds.
The quiz is to start at 8pm and will be held in Bleary & District Young Farmers Hall.
The cost is £5 per head and you can come in teams or individuals to be placed in a team.
We would love to see some pipe bands represented as there will be a pipe band section in the quiz.
As most of your have already heard, the band will be back out for the 2013 competition season and they will be running a series of fundraising events over the coming months.
The band will be back out under the direction of Pipe Major Nigel Davison and Leading Drummer, David Brown.
