Advice for Bands and Individuals Attending the All-Ireland Pipe Band Championships in New Ross
Travelling by Coach from Northern Ireland
- If travelling by coach, please apply for a Coach Parking pass (Free of Charge) at allireland2022@gmail.com
- The easiest way to travel to New Ross is to travel via the M1 (Motorway Toll near Drogheda which only accepts Euro but drivers may tap their debit cards or credit cards ) as far as Dublin ; then take the the M50 around Dublin (automatic toll) and continue on to the M11 and N11 until you see the exit for the N30 to Enniscorthy and New Ross. All major towns south of Dublin are now bypassed so it’s a straight run.
- There are two motorway stops north of Dublin (Castlebellingham and Lusk) and two south of Dublin (Coyne’s Cross near Wicklow and Gorey) .
- New Ross itself is now bypassed so follow the bypass route as signposted as far as the N25. Exit 3 at the roundabout brings you via the R723 into the Quays area of New Ross where carparks and coach parking are situated.
