We have been advised by Council that parking in the back field on the hill at Donard Park will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday and will then be locked by Security at 8 p.m. and will not reopen until 1 p.m. on Sunday. Please ensure that you vacate the back field by this time as the security company will charge £25.00 to open the barrier between opening and closing times.
On enquiring about Motor Home parking at Newcastle, the below reply was received from Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
'The overflow car park (grass area above playing fields) is being managed by a private company on behalf of the council due to on-going Anti Social Behaviour. It opens at 1 pm and closes at 8 pm this Friday. They charge a £25 fee to open the gates after this time.
There is no designated Motor Home parking within the Donard park area.'
Drum Major dress time for the Ulster Championships is 11.00 a.m.
The draw for the Ulster Championships is now online and can be accessed by clicking here.
Disabled and Motorhome parking will be within the grounds of Moira Demesne. Please follow the directions of Security Staff.
