A reminder of Autumn Training Events.

The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association Northern Ireland Branch in conjunction with Artsland (Fermanagh and Omagh District Council) and Dun Uladh are running training events in the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh on the following dates and topics;

20th October 2018

• Committee Skills 
• Public Relations 
• Funding and Fundraising 
• Marketing and Social Media

10th November 2018

• Events Management
• Safeguarding
• Working with Volunteers (Motivation and Retention)

There is £250.00 available to each band who send representatives to attend the training events. This training is invaluable to bands as it will assist with any future funding applications that bands make and is something that funders recognize and require more and more if any future funding applications are to be successful.

A Branch Meeting will be held on Saturday, 27th of October 2018 at 2pm

The Branch AGM will be held on Saturday, 24th of November 2018 at 11 am.

Both meetings will be held in Trinity Methodist Halls, Ballymacoss Ave, Lisburn, County Antrim BT28 2GX.

Nominations for election of Officers and notices of motion for the AGM must be received from band secretaries by the Branch Secretary three weeks prior to the meeting.

A huge congratulations to the following RSPBANI Drum Majors and band's on their prizes at the World Championships which took place today on Glasgow Green

A special congratulations to our new World Champions - Emma Barr (Adult DM), Gransha (Grade 4b), Sgt Walker Memorial (Drums 4b), McNeillstown (Band & Drum Corps Grade 4a) and Field Marshal Montgomery (Grade 1)

Also a huge congratulations to Emma Barr who lifted the Supreme Champion of Champion title in the Adult Drum Major Grade and to Closkelt who are Grade 2 Supreme Champion of Champions
